Some moments only happen once. My job is to make sure you can relive them forever.
Photography started as a way for me to capture moments in sports, the kind of moments that happen in the blink of an eye and can never be recreated. That experience taught me that the most meaningful photographs are not staged. They are real, emotional, and often over before anyone realizes they happened.
Today, that same philosophy guides every proposal, wedding, maternity session, family portrait, and celebration I photograph.
My goal is not simply to deliver beautiful images. It is to create windows back to some of the most meaningful moments of your life. I want you to look through your photos 30 years from now and not just remember what happened, but remember exactly how you felt in that moment.
My approach is rooted in photojournalism. While I am happy to provide guidance when it is needed, I believe the best photographs happen naturally. The quiet glances, the uncontrollable laughter, the happy tears, and the hugs that last a little longer than expected are the moments that tell your story. My job is to capture them honestly so that every image brings you back to your day as if you were living it all over again.
Of course, I could spend hours talking about cameras, lenses, lighting, and the technical side of photography. Those things are simply tools. What truly matters is creating an experience where you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves. Whether you love being in front of a camera or you're convinced you're awkward in photos, my goal is to make the experience feel effortless, relaxed, and genuinely fun.
At the end of the day, I do not measure success by how many photos I deliver or what equipment I use. I measure it by whether your images make you smile, laugh, cry, and remember the people and moments that mattered most.
Long after the flowers have wilted, the music has stopped, and the cake is gone, your photographs are what remain. They become family heirlooms, reminders of where your story began, and windows back to moments you never want to forget.
